Foxtail millet ladoo is a tasty and healthy dish that is perfect for any occasion. Made with foxtail millet, jaggery, and ghee, this ladoo is not only delicious but also nutritious.

Foxtail millet is a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals, while jaggery is a natural sweetener that is rich in iron. Ghee, on the other hand, is a healthy fat that helps to keep the body nourished.

  • Preparation time- 10 minutes 
  • Cooking time- 20 minutes 
  • Total time- 30 minutes 
  • Servings- 10 ladoos


  • Foxtail Millet- 1 cup
  • Ghee- ¼ cup
  • Almonds- ¼ cup
  • Cardamom Powder- ½ tsp
  • Organic Jaggery- ½ cup


  • Wash one cup of Foxtail Millet and dry it out. Grind the Millet into flour.
  • Dry roast Foxtail Millet in a Kadai with ¼ cup of ghee. Roast in low flame until the bubbles start appearing. 
  • Switch off the flame. Let the mixture cool.
  • Add almonds and cardamom powder.
  • Add ½  cup of organic jaggery and mix it well.
  • Make small balls and serve them.
