Our delicious and nutritious drumsticks soup is rich in iron and full of health benefits – not to mention, it tastes amazing with some toasted bread! Try this drumsticks soup recipe you’ll love.
- Prep time– 10 minutes
- Cooking time– 30 minutes
- Servings– 2-3 people
Ingredients-
- Drumsticks- 5-6 pcs (cut into long slices and sliced in half)
- Ghee- 1 tsp
- Finely Chopped Shallots / Onion- 1/4 cup
- Garlic- 2 cloves
- Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)- 1 tsp
- Pepper Powder- to taste
- Rock Salt- to taste
- Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves- 3 tbsp
Procedure-
- Peel the drumsticks, then put them in a saucepan. Cover the drumsticks with water, and cook until they are done. Once they are done, take them out of the saucepan to cool. ● In a pot, heat the ghee. Add onions and garlic and saute for a minute. Then, add the boiled drumsticks.
- Add the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add cumin, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Bring your soup to a boil, then let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add some coriander leaves to the soup and give it a good stir.
- For the perfect finishing touch, garnish your dish with roasted melon and sesame seeds.
