  • Prep time– 10 minutes 
  • Cooking time– 30 minutes 
  • Servings– 2-3 people 


  • Drumsticks- 5-6 pcs (cut into long slices and sliced in half) 
  • Ghee- 1 tsp 
  • Finely Chopped Shallots / Onion- 1/4 cup
  • Garlic- 2 cloves 
  • Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)- 1 tsp
  • Pepper Powder- to taste
  • Rock Salt- to taste 
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves- 3 tbsp


  • Peel the drumsticks, then put them in a saucepan. Cover the drumsticks with water, and cook until they are done. Once they are done, take them out of the saucepan to cool. ● In a pot, heat the ghee. Add onions and garlic and saute for a minute. Then, add the boiled drumsticks. 
  • Add the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. 
  • Add cumin, salt, and pepper to taste. 
  • Bring your soup to a boil, then let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add some coriander leaves to the soup and give it a good stir. 
  • For the perfect finishing touch, garnish your dish with roasted melon and sesame seeds.
