A healthy dish made by using a millet and one that can be had almost any time and can even be packed as kids lunch box. Foxtail Millet is a great source of dietary fibre, protein and is low in fat good for a diabetic friendly diet.

Ingredients
- Foxtail Millet – 1⁄2 cup
- Mixed Dal – 1 cup (soak for 4-5 hours)
- Flax Seed Powder – 1 tbsp
- Sesame Seeds – as required
- Salt – as per taste
- Chilli Flakes – as per taste
- Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
- Vegetables finely chopped (capsicum, carrot, onion, ginger, curry patta, green coriander leaves)
- Spices (turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala) – 1 tsp as per taste
Procedure
- Rinse and soak the millet with methi seeds for 4-5 hours
- Coarsely grind the millet and mixed dals without adding water
- Saute the vegetables in a pan
- Add these vegetables to the mixture
- Season with Salt, Chilli Flakes, Flax Seed Powder and other spices
- Sprinkle some Sesame seeds in the oven. Preheat the oven to 18°c
- Take a dish. Grease it with ghee. Cook for 10 mins and then flip after 5 mins
- Serve with a homemade chutney or sauce
