Chia pudding is an incredibly simple dessert. It is easy to make and can be prepared in multiple ways. Chia seeds might look small but they are rich in antioxidants, fibre, and protein. They are also a great source of calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Other desserts usually have a considerable amount of additives and other artificial flavors but that’s not the case for Chia pudding.
● Prep time- 5 minutes
● Making time- 5 minutes
● Servings- 2 person
Ingredients-
- Thick coconut milk/ Almond milk- 1 cup
- Chia seeds- ¼ cup
- Unsweetened coconut powder- 1 cup or as per taste
- Unsweetened peanut butter/ unsweetened cashew butter- 2 tbsp
- Dates- 6 deseeded (optional)
- Unpasteurized wild honey- 3 tsp (optional)
- Papaya- ½ cup
- Kiwi- ½ cup
- Sugar-free chocolate- ¼ cup
- Mango- ½ cup
- Strawberries- ½ cup Or any other seasonal fruit
Procedure-
● Extract 1 cup Coconut milk or Almond milk.
● Soak chia seeds. Once you’ve let them sit in either coconut milk or almond milk for a bit, it’s time to bust out the blender.
● You’ll want to add unsweetened coconut powder and either unsweetened peanut butter or unsweetened cashew butter (we won’t judge if you want to use both).
● If you’re looking for something with a little more sweetness, adding dates and honey does the trick.
● Once everything is nicely combined, it’s time to add the chia seeds mixture.
● Top with seasonal fruits and voila! You’ve got a delicious and healthy treat that’s perfect for any occasion.
